If you have already got a Shared network set but still experience network issues in Windows switch it to Bridged Network: Default Adapter and verify if the internet is working in any of these modes. Go to the virtual machine's configuration > Hardware > Network > Source > Shared Network (Recommended) option should be set by default.
If this helped and internet connection restored, enable all services back one-by-one to identify the problematic 3rd party application. NOTE: in step 3 keep both Parallels Tools services enabled.

It can cause to allow disk space while nothing is written on it too, so you will see your free disk space occupied by nothing (which can take a big space:)

This allocation stays in memory in one file (which one ?) and it causes the game to install what has been allocated for, but what left makes the disk counter fall to 0bytes/s. I cannot try the trick because I have only one partition and SSD.īut I have an idea from where it comes : last time I encountered this was with the las DeusEX MD, I noticed the problem came after canceling the installation WHILE steam was allocating files for the game (you now the first little screen during the first installation). Hi guys, same problem here with the last Tomb Raider. (NOTE: If you have any downloads going when you try to add the SteamLibrary folder just pause them when steam says "New Steam library folder can't be added while downloading") 1.) Create a folder called "SteamLibrary" on the other harddrive or partition.Ģ.) Open up the folder where Steam is installed (For me it's E:\Program Files (x86)\Steam).Copy a file called "steam.dll" and paste it to that new SteamLibrary folder.ģ.)Create another folder in the "SteamLibrary" folder and name it "Steamapps".(Should look like this "\SteamLibrary\SteamApps", I don't know what letter your harddrive is so I left that blank)Than go back to the original Steam folder and open the "Steamapps" folder (For me it's E:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps).Once there copy the file "appmanifest_730.acf" to the new "Steamapps" folder that you created.Once copied rename this file in the original "Steam\steamapps" folder to this "appmanifest_".Ĥ.)Create the last folder in the new "steamapps" folder and name it "common" (Should look like this "\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common", I don't know what letter your harddrive is so I left that blank)ĥ.)Go back to original "Steamapps" folder and goto the "common" folder(For me it's E:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common).Once there copy the CSGO game folder over to the new "common" folder.Ħ.)Start Steam up and goto the top left and click on "Steam" than goto "settings".Once in settings go down to the "Downloads" section than click on the top button called "STEAM LIBRARY FOLDERS".ħ.)Click on the "ADD LIBRARY FOLDER" button.Select the new SteamLibrary folder from that list that you had made in the steps above.Ĩ.)Profitzz.I hope. The game now should resume it's download with no problem. As for the disk problem hopefully it's just that sector or it might be something else but this is a fast way to get your download underway. Also you can always move the game folder and "appmanifest_730.acf" back to the original Steam folder at any time should you have fixed any possible hd problems if there was one to begin with
